My Dream
When I was young it is really my dream to experience the life of Canada. That is why when my sister came here I was excited. When my mother and brother followed her I got also interested to apply here in Canada. It is because of my son Jayvees. It is my greatest dream to give bright future to my one and only son. According to them there are lots of opportunities in Canada. A beautiful land with many opportunities. It was year 2005 when I decided to apply at Canadian Embassy. I’m so lucky that my application has been approved by the Canadian Embassy last 2007. I immediately completed my requirements and last 21st of September year 2007 when I arrived here in Canada safe and healthy.
Plant A Tree
Every school year the Department of Education ( DepEd ) in cooperation of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources ( DENR ) requires every graduating students in every school to plant ten ( 10 ) pieces of bearing and non- bearing trees. In response to the said DepEd memorandum, Rizal Memorial Elementary School actively participated this project and planted coconut started last March 19, 2007 to March 23, 2007 respectively. School site was the area of planting with an area of twenty thousand ( 20 ) square meters located at back of Rizal Memorial Elementary School .
Our main objectives are: To teach children the importance of tree and take care of the nature, prevent soil erosion and other natural calamities, maintain the watershed area of our school, to help maintain and remain the balance of nature. We believe in the sayings that Plant a tree and grow with me for under a canopy of a tree you are in God’s company.
