It was 7th day of June 2007 when I attented a Canadian Orientation Seminar Abroad Session held at IOM Office @ 24th Floor, Citibank Tower Condominium located at 8741 Paseo de Roxas, Makati City, Metro Manila, Philippines . The lady in the picture is Diane Bienvenue one of the facilitator. Her companion is Louise Belanger but I failed to take a picture of her only Miss Diane. The Canadian Orientation Abroad Project (COA) is a world-wide and official pre-departure orientation project funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada. The orientation seminars offered for free charge with drinks and snacks. It is important for me to attend the said seminar for me to know the do’s and don’ts in traveling abroad especially in Canada. My main purpose of participating it is to learn the survival tips for a successful adaptation in Canada concerning arrival requirements; basic settling-in procedures; reliable information on issues and concerns regarding Canadian labour laws, contract expiry / extension, permanent resident status, sponsorship and learn about practical tips about life in Canada.
My Students
Rizal Memorial Elementary School conducted the money contest before the day of celebration in order to augment and support projects and programs. Here the display of pride and honor among parents were exhibited. On the utmost day of celebration, float parade served as the opening salvo or the curtain raiser of the activity followed by the blistering and thundering of exhibition of “DRUM AND BUGLE CORPS” banner by beautiful majorettes and twirlers. Laughter and contentment were very transparent to the faces of beholders and spectators. Festive lunch were offered at 12:00 noon and this also served as the breathing room for the royal family to prepare for the grand coronation the highlight of the celebration.**** King of Hearts………………………. SPEAK TEST
Hello! good morning to everyone. I received a letter from Canadian Embassy today. I felt so happy upon reading the letter informing me that I passed the Spoken Proficiency in English Assessment and Knowledge (SPEAK) test done last 3rd day January 2007 at Manila. Speak test is an oral proficiency test that measures how an applicant understands and expresses in spoken English language. The test is specifically designed for the applicants to Canada and includes evaluation of the applicants knowledge of the basic skills required in LCP. The test cost PHP 2240 (including VAT). An now I passed the said exam and because of that the embassy make an expedited decision on my application and continue to process my work permit. Thanks to God …

Good Memories From My School
Education plays a vital role for the good future to any individual especially the youth today. Rizal Memorial Elementary School is located seven kilometers from Poblacion Monkayo, Compostela Valley Province. It was a school along Philippine – Japan friendship National Highway from Davao City in the south and Butuan City to the north. It is a public elementary school with the total population of three hundred ( 300 ) students and seven ( 7 ) teachers from grade I to VI. I am handling grade VI, 30 boys and 23 girls with the total of fifty three ( 53 ) pupils. Rizal Memorial Elementary School was situated at 2 hectares land area donated by Cabusora family of Barangay Rizal . The school has a beautiful playground, heroes park, sci – math garden and a flower garden in the front. We have also vegetable garden and a rice field at the back. Then a banana plantation on the other side. The pupils are very cooperative, attentive, polite, kind, cooperative and intelligent.
Valedictory Address
Years and years of efforts, of struggles and of sacrifices have rolled on little by little until at last we are graduating today. Like everything else in this world, our happy school days in Rizal Memorial Elem. School have come to an end. All through these years of incessant endeavors, we have been dreaming of this occasion rich with never- fading memories, one brief moment in our lives when we can share with you the glory and happiness for having achieved another rung in the ladder of success. It is not the end to all our endeavors not as the last milestone on the long road to success and happiness, but it is only the beginning of greater things, the stepping stone to the greater and bigger achievements. In this gathering today, I see the reason for those beautiful sacrifices of our dear parents and in those sacrifices I see the reason for the happiest, most contented countenance that their faces wear this day. Thank you, thank you my dear parents. To our teachers, how can we even repay you for the wise instructions, your unselfish devotion to our welfare and your motherly guidance which we all had the good fortune to share? Thanks to those happy years of physical, intellectual, moral and spiritual growth under the loving care of our dear teachers, we can safely say that we have been very fortunate indeed. To our Alma matter Rizal Memorial Elem. School which is our school and yours too. This school grows and is destined to grow simply because it counts with the support, moral and material from each and everyone of us especially our teachers, PTCA officials, Barangay officials and parents. So, to our Alma matter there’s nothing much better and much happier than to have you all with us today; for your most welcome presence is a good sign that our school will live and will continue to live perhaps much bigger and much stronger through the years; capable of living up to the highest expectation. Thank you and good day to everyone.
