It was a sunny and wonderful day when we went to Mergrande Ocean Resort, Toril Davao City last September 8, 2007 to celebrate my farewell party with my co-teachers in the Philippines.
Its a nice beach with breath taking view of sunrise in the morning, with cool breeze plus the blue water of the sea. The beach inspired by the natural beauty of nature and designed to cater to those who want refreshing, relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. Its a perfect setting to all vacationist in Davao.
Visa Canada
Thanks to God I got my visa. It was May 4, 2005, my sister Agring applied for sponsorship in Toronto Canada. She’s my employer and I’m a live-in caregiver to her daughter Abigail, 3 yrs old. In response to her application, Human Resources and Skills Development (HRSDC) has issued a positive labour market opinion (LMO). I did not hesitate to complete all the requirements asked by the Canadian embassy and submit to them immediately. I patiently waited due to enormous volume of applicants awaiting for interview. After one year, I received a letter from Canadian Embassy Manila, that they can’t schedule an interview that time due to large volume of applicants. Applicants are required to demonstrate proof of language ability and ability to perform the duties of a live-in caregiver, as per R112 (d) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations. A work permit shall be issued if an applicants have the ability to speak, read and listen to English at a level sufficient to communicate effectively in an unsupervised setting. In order to fulfill these requirements, I strongly encourage myself to take the Spoken Proficiency in English Assessment and Knowledge (S.P.E.A.K.). January 3, 2007 was the unforgettable date of my SPEAK TEST. I got so nervous that time and thanks God He gives me enough strength and more knowledge that time. I’m so glad, God really answered all my prayers. I cant describe how happy i was when I passed the test. WOW! Its like heaven. like when I passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) last August 1996. God is really willing to give more abundant and countless blessings to me. No doubt, God loves me so much and I love HIM too. So, the Canadian Embassy, make an expedited decision to process my application. Next was to have medical examination. I was shocked then, because my blood pressure was too high, 160/110. Dr. Parkash refer me to the best cardiologist in the Philippines Dr. Chiu then I undergone medical treatment. Next my Visa come.
